Swap and Trade rulesFor everyone's enjoyment of this event, please note the following :)-Event will be conducted during stated times only
-All transactions must be held in the designated classroom, other spaces are needed for Abby's Lane patrons and our staff
-Children and babies are welcome, but please note:
a)the toy room is not in plain sight of the classroom, children must be supervised at all times in the toy area
b)if children are not supervised, Abby's Lane staff may instruct those in the classroom to collect their children to either bring back with you into the classroom, or for a guardian to leave the classroom to accompany the child in the toy room, this is for the safety of all children. Abby's Lane staff cannot be responsible for child supervision.
-All sales and transactions are the sole responsibility of the seller and buyer, Abby's Lane assumes no responsibility for defective items or fraudulent payment methods, i.e. bounced checks
-Abby's Lane will not provide any means of payment acceptance for your transactions, this includes but is not limited to check verification, credit card processing, making change for cash. We keep a very limited amount of cash which is reserved for patrons of Abby's Lane.
-Abby's Lane staff cannot assist on advising proper pricing guidelines for buyers or sellers, please research this ahead of time to see your "going rate"
-If at any time guests of the swap become disruptive to the rest of the group, you may be asked to leave the premises
-Abby's Lane will not assume liability for items that are lost, stolen or mishandled, please keep your items with you if you leave the classroom.
-Abby's Lane will provide one table in the classroom area, there are many chairs available but additional tables or displays may not be brought into the premises.
-Abby's Lane cannot provide advice for babywearing items outside of what we sell and are familiar with, please educate yourself or ask your seller to demonstrate the carrier if you are not familiar with it.
